Megan Cheever has been working in the medical field for half of her life so far – although she doesn’t really like that reminder. Her ultimate goal as an educator is to provide instruction that will result in Medicare provider compliance at the time of initial claim submission.
Cindy White is an Education Consultant with Noridian Healthcare Solutions providing DMEPOS education to suppliers in both jurisdictions A and D. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from Eastern Washington University and has been with Noridian since the fall of 2012. Prior to joining Noridian, Cindy spent 17 years working in the DMEPOS industry for a respiratory supplier, bringing a unique perspective and strong desire to provide quality education to the supplier community.

Dr. Patel received his dental degree from the University of Tennessee in 1994. After graduation he completed a one-year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). In 2011 he completed a Masters in Science from Tufts University in the area of Craniofacial Pain and Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Patel has earned a Fellowship in the American Academy of Orofacial Pain, American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the International College of Craniomandibular Orthopedics, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. He also became a Diplomate in the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, American Board of Orofacial Pain, American Board of Craniofacial Pain and American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Patel is the 2nd dentist that has fulfilled the necessary requirements and is a registered polysomnographic technologist.
Presently, Dr. Patel serves as a board member with American Academy of Craniofacial Pain and the British Society od Dental Sleep Medicine. He also has taken the role as examination chair for and American Board of Craniofacial Pain and as Director of Clinical Education for Nierman Practice Management. He served as the examination chair for the American Board of Craniofacial Dental Sleep Medicine. Holds adjunct faculty with the Atlanta Sleep School, Tufts University and Augusta University. In the past has served as a founding and board member of the Georgia Association of Sleep Professionals.
Since 2003, Dr. Patel has limited his practice to the treatment of TMJ Disorders, Headaches, Facial Pain and Sleep Apnea. Additional contributions have been published textbook chapters, consumer books, one on treatment options for sleep apnea and the other on understanding temporomandibular disorders, and various professional and consumer articles.
Dr. Kent Smith is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and American Sleep and Breathing Academy and is President of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. In 2007, he was asked to start a sleep curriculum at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, and in 2012, he was the first in Texas to be awarded a Dental Sleep Medicine Facility Accreditation. He runs two sleep practices in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and has been speaking on many topics related to sleep both nationally and internationally for the last 15 years.
Glennine Varga is a dental airway coach and is a certified temporomandibular dysfunction (TMD) assistant with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP). She has been employed in dental education for 20 years. Glennine is a member of the Academy of Dental Management Consulting (ADMC) and a professional member of the National Speakers Association (NSA).
She has been a TMD/Sleep Apnea trainer and speaker with emphasis on medical billing and documentation for over 15 years and has trained doctors and teams in the use of electro-diagnostic equipment for 5 years. She is also a visiting faculty member of The Pankey Institute, American Dental Association (ADA), and Spear Education’s Dental Sleep Medicine courses. Glennine is a Total Team Training Instructor for Arrowhead Dental Lab. She has been published by Aesthetic Dentistry and is a columnist for the quarterly publication Dental Sleep Practice (DSP) magazine.
After finishing medical school, Dr. Wilson completed her Internal Medicine residency in Baltimore, Maryland, where she served as Chief Resident. After residency, Dr. Wilson returned to her home state of Texas and started an Internal Medicine practice in Kerrville. Her interest in Sleep Medicine became known in the medical community and providers began referring patients for sleep medicine consultations. Dr. Wilson became ABIM Certified in Sleep Medicine in 2009, and in early 2010 she devoted her entire practice to Sleep Medicine. Texas Sleep Docs has sleep centers in Kerrville and Austin.
She and her husband Jerry continue to live in Kerrville and travel weekly to Austin. Dr. Wilson is currently on consultative staff at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville and is the Treasurer of the Kerr-Bandera County Medical Society.

Dr. Richard Thrasher is a unique leader in the medical community, currently serving as the immediate past chief of staff of the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center at McKinney and as the managing partner of the ENT & Allergy Centers of Texas (the largest otolaryngology practice in DFW) which he started 10 years ago as a solo practice. He has held many other physician leadership positions in multiple hospitals in DFW. He has been named a D Magazine Best ENT on several occasions and has won the coveted Living Magazine Reader’s Choice Award as Best ENT in McKinney and Allen for 7 consecutive years. Prior to serving as a Major in the United States Air Force, he went to the University of Utah for his undergraduate degree, the University of Connecticut School of Medicine for his MD, and then to the University of Colorado to complete his residency.
Dr. Thrasher is known as an early adopter of leading-edge medical technologies. He was among the first 60 physicians in the country to utilize balloon sinuplasty and among the first ENTs in North Texas to be certified on the DaVinci Robot. He performed the first implantation of the Inspire device in Collin County for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea recently featured on NBC news. Dr. Thrasher is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.
A resident of Prosper, he is the father of two and devoted to his family and community. He has become a well-respected travel and landscape photographer in his spare time with several awards. He will admit to playing several sports poorly and is a self-proclaimed technology geek who covets anything with a microchip in it.
Dr. Jason R. Doucette is a Nevada native that was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Further pursuing his education in 1991, Dr. Doucette ventured north to Reno where he attended the University of Nevada, Reno and received his bachelor’s degree of science in 1995. He then attended Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1999.
After his first few years in practice Dr. Doucette developed a passion for cosmetic dentistry and began to focus on smile revitalization through the use of technologically advanced surgical/ restorative cosmetic dental procedure. In 2009 after surgically placing dental implants for nearly ten years, Dr. Doucette successfully expanded his focus to the planning and placement of fixed- full- arch -implant- supported- prosthetics via CT-Guided technology when multiple implants were indicated to restore a smile.

He received his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Throughout the dental profession, Dr. Carollo is a respected author, lecturer and peer. Dr. Sall graduated from University of Vermont in 1976 with a BA in Zoology. He obtained his DDS from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1980 where he spent a year in the study and treatment of patients at the TMJ and Facial Pain Clinic. Dr. Sall completed a GPR in General Dentistry at Upstate Medical Center and joined his father’s general dentistry practice. In 1984 Dr. Sall returned to medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical Center and graduated with an MD in 1987. He completed his residency at Upstate in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery and became board certified in 1994.
In 1992 Dr. Sall began private practice as an Otolaryngologist and Dentist with an emphasis on TMD, Orofacial Pain, general Otolaryngology, and the surgical and medical management of sleep disorders. In 2000 Dr. Sall earned an MBA from SUNY Binghamton with an emphasis in health care. In 2012 Dr. Sall became board certified in Sleep Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Sall is the CEO of Sleep Center of CNY and has delivered Oral Appliance Therapy for 19 years to over 4000 pts.. He is a speaker for Intersect ENT Corporation. In June of 2018 Dr. Sall became the medical director for ProSomnus Sleep Technologies. In December of 2018 Dr Sall founded a Telemedicine Company StopSnoringSleepBetter.com that was developed to empower the dentist to treat the majority of their patients via telemedicine consultations with board-certified medical sleep physicians.
SGS John Nadeau has been actively involved in the dental sleep medicine community since 2002. He has worked with several hundred dentists in the field and helped many of them get started with sleep in their own practices.
An expert on airway acoustic imaging and home sleep testing John authored the SGS protocol manual detailing the steps-by-step process involved in taking a patient from initial screening through diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
John’s passion for dental sleep medicine comes through strongly in his lectures and he has been an invited guest instructor at many dental meetings and teaching facilities across North America.
Paul Nojaim graduated from Le Moyne College in 2010 with a BS in Economics and Political Science. He initially supported the office of Advanced ENT Physicians of CNY with an administrative role and quickly moved into technical support and information management.
He was instrumental in the website development of Sleep Center of CNY when it was launched in 2016. He has worked in Dr Sall’s office since 2011 and is an expert in medical coding, billing, authorizations and information management. Mr. Nojaim and Dr. Sall co-founded StopSnoringSleepBetter.com, a Telemedicine company, and is in charge of contracts, information management and technical support.
