April's AKA (The Sleep Chic) journey in dental sleep medicine began two decades ago when she joined Dr. Smith's team as his 5th dental assistant. Early on, Dr. Smith shared his fervor for improving sleep health, sparking a collaborative effort to address patients' fatigue and sleep issues. Together, they initiated patient screenings and crafted custom sleep appliances, laying the foundation for what would become a successful sleep program.
With her integral role in building the program, April's expertise and dedication have remained unwavering over the years. She's played a vital part in training dentists and team members at various seminars, including the widely recognized "Wasted Days and Sleepless Nights" events.
In 2014, April took a significant step forward by establishing her own consultancy business, Sleep Apnea Consultants (S.A.C). Her expertise drew dentists from across the nation to seek her guidance in establishing their successful sleep programs.
As an active participant in every Sleep Round Table (SRT), April has not only contributed her insights but also taken on speaking roles in many of these gatherings. Currently serving as the Director of Oral Appliance Therapy at Star Sleep & Wellness, April continues to channel her passion for teaching and training others in the intricacies of starting dental Sleep practice.
With a wealth of experience and a genuine desire to empower others, April remains committed to sharing her knowledge and expertise to make a meaningful impact in the field of dental sleep medicine.

For the past seven years, Laura has focused exclusively on medical billing, finding joy in guiding clients through the complexities of billing for dental services in the medical realm. She thrives on the challenges that medical billing presents, particularly relishing the opportunity to tackle difficult cases.
Laura holds certifications as a sleep care coordinator and an SGS sleep educator, underscoring her commitment to excellence in the field. She has dedicated countless hours to continuing education in DSM, further enriching her expertise.
When she's not delving into the intricacies of medical billing, Laura indulges her passions for true crime investigations, reading, and parenting her four energetic children.
